Learn Engineering & Robotics with LEGO®!

Young Engineers offers unique STEM programs where children have fun while learning critical skills for the digital age!

What is STEM?

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are becoming increasingly important due to technology pervading every aspect of our lives. A STEM education offers not just information but the ability to process that information correctly. STEM skills include:

✓ Theoretical concepts ✓ Practical application of theory
✓ Critical thinking
✓ Problem solving
✓ Data analysis
✓ Engineering
✓ Physics
✓ Coding

At Young Engineers:

✓ Students build and program motorised LEGO® models
✓ These models are working prototypes of real world machines
✓ Different levels of the program cater to a range of ages and abilities
✓ Children build everything from washing machines, power plants and helicopters to human and animal robots. All the machines move and work at the press of a button!

For the parents it’s an education, for the children it’s a game. What Young Engineers delivers is e² – Education with Entertainment.

About the Franchisee

Hi, my name is Devna.

As a young mother of two little boys who are studying in primary, I am very keen in ensuring the kids get the best education possible in the best possible manner. I am thrilled to be a part of the Young Engineers family and excited to offer learning through the “edutainment” concept to children in the relaxed Eastern Melbourne region.

I completed my graduation in English and Economics honours.  I am a certified Business Analyst, who has been working within analysis and projects streams from the past 11+ years.

I started working in India in 2000 with Netcradle who specialised in providing online education systems for UK based primary school students. After moving to Australia in 2002, my experience grew in various fields from testing to account management to business analysis. This experience has given me the opportunity to amass business acumen in various high profile industries and be involved in large enterprise wide initiatives to small departmental projects.

I am a sociable person and I like to get to know new people and to get to know new interesting things and experiences.  I have been told that I am a motivating and positive person. I have a good sense of humour and I believe friendship is one of the most important values.
